Do you have an endowment
(interest only) mortgage?
If you think you
were mis-sold an endowment mortgage policy you should make an endowment
mortgage complaint.
You will need to
think back to the meetings you had with your mortgage adviser and what
you were told. There are a number of different things your adviser should
have explained to you.
Many advisers said
that endowments were guaranteed or would definitely pay off the mortgage
and others said there would be lump sums at the end of the endowment
policy.
This in itself is
not grounds for complaint, but does indicate that you may have been
mis-sold.
Making a complaint is free and if your complaint is upheld and you lost
